EU hydrogen policy
fuel cell vehicles convert hydrogen to electricity to power their engines. To support wider adoption, the current network of 144 hydrogen refuelling stations in Europe would need to grow considerably. Clean hydrogen produced from renewable electricity and CO 2 can also be used to produce synthetic gaseous or liquid transport fuels (Power-to-X).
