1.2.2. Fabric Expansion Joint Types The term “Fabric Expansion Joint” is a little misleading, in that it covers a wider range of products and materials than just “fabrics”. However, it is useful as a generic title for expansion joints which are non-metallic, and used in ducts at low pressures.
