The Employees Provident Fund Organisation has been established to administer the Employees’ Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. The Preamble to the EPF & MP Act, 1952 sets the tone for the institution of provident funds, pension funds and deposit linked insurance funds for employees in factories and other establishments.
