Interviewing Children 011708
Direct observation of the child. Watch the child while playing, or generally relating to the parent, in order to gain a sense of the child's temperament. Observe the infant's development, and view the infant's reactions to a stranger (the evaluator). It may be useful to use the Baley's Infant Development Scale in assessing the developmental range.
