DISTRIBUTION TABLES When a set of data covers a wide range of values, it is unreasonable to list all the individuals scores in a frequency distribution table. In this case, we group the scores into intervals in order to obtain a relatively simple and organized picture of data. The result is a grouped frequency distribution table.
