Nonfiction Text Features
Each student creates their own nonfiction text feature book. They are given the blank graphic organizers with the type of text feature filled in. Using kid friendly magazines and newspapers (or another nonfiction text that can be cut up) they give an example for each and must write how that text feature helped them to understand.
