Plastic Waste Management - NPC
The fracon of plasc waste in total Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) varies from 3.10% (Chandigarh) to 12.47% (Surat). Average plasc waste generaon is approx. 7% of MSW.As per the study conducted by Central Polluon Control Board (CPCB) in 60 major cies of India, it has been observed that around 4059 T/day of plasc waste is generated from these cies.
