Coating for steel, copper, copper alloys, zinc and zinc alloys. Nickel can be deposited soft or hard, dull or bright, depending upon process used and conditions employed in plating. Thus hardness can range from 150-1500 Vickers. Can be similar in color to stainless steel, or can be a dull gray or light gray (almost white).
