What is the business case for DSNs? The incidence of diabetes is predicted to increase to 5 million by 2025. It is essential that steps are taken to increase the NHS’s capacity to care for people with diabetes in a cost effective manner. The body of evidence shows that Diabetes Specialist Nurses are a key part of cost effective care.
