Noxious Fumes Blasting generates carbon monoxide and other noxious fumes. The fumes generated during blasting operations, especially during trenching operations, can migrate and collect in excavations, manholes and D.I.’s, and nearby buildings. The build up of significant concentrations of gases can occur 12 hours or more after the blast.
