Standards for Postanesthesia Care Committee of Origin: Standards and Practice Parameters (Approved by the ASA House of Delegates on October 27, 2004, and last amended on October 23, 2019) These standards apply to postanesthesia care in all locations. These standards may be exceeded based on the judgment of the responsible anesthesiologist.
