Sun As A Star
demonstrate how light from the Sun moves across the Earth. In Activity 7, participants view images of the Sun taken by the SOHO satellite. The activity reinforces the idea that light is our tool for studying the Sun, and introduces the idea that scientists use the different colors of light given off by the Sun to learn more about it.
