Piping Pipes of following types are to be used: Mild steel black class C pipes as per IS:1239 heavy grade suitably lagged on the outside to prevent soil corrosion as per IS:10221. M.S pipes buried below ground shall also be suitably be lagged with 2 layers of 400 micron polythene sheet over 2 coats of bitumen.
