Thermometer Calibration Guide
thermal conductivity, joined at one junction. When heated, each metal releases an electrical current different from the other. The temperature reading is a function of the junction between the two metals, the composition of the metals and the voltmeter measur-ing the current. Although calibration is possible there are many other facets to consider.
