This tough, drought and frost tolerant Dianella caerulea ' s foliage grows to approximately 40cm tall with a spread of 40cm. Its mass of baby blue flowers grow to about 55 cm in height. It is a more clumping form of Dianella caerulea rather than spreading.
2 The flowers are followed by purple berries. Foliage ;Compact and rich blue foliage, coupled with its highly desirable size and shape, make it the ideal plant for both commercial landscape, and home garden design. Naturally Tough ; Dianella caerulea ' s natural toughness make this an ideal plant for mass planting. In some ways Cassa Blue has the shape of a dwarf Phormium ,but only far tougher Its blue colour provides great contrast in any garden or landscape design. Position; Tolerates a wide range of soils and climactic conditions.
