2 Move the MIX/DUMP valve to the NEUTRAL position. Using the RAISE/LOWER valve, slightly lower the trailer (Approximately 6-8 inches). Set the FLOW CONTROL to ZERO. Move the MIX/DUMP valve to DUMP. Slowly advance the FLOW CONTROL lever until concrete begins to flow out. Once the wheelbarrow is full, move the FLOW CONTROL to ZERO, switch to MIX with the MIX/DUMP valve, and set the FLOW CONTROL to 4- 6 to keep the concrete mixed. Repeat steps 3 through 7 until the drum is empty. Once the drum is empty, move the MIX/DUMP lever to neutral set the FLOW CONTROL TO 10.
3 Using the RAISE/LOWER valve, lower the trailer all the way down. Set the FLOW CONTROL to ZERO and move the MIX/DUMP lever from neutral to DUMP. Set the FLOW CONTROL to 10. Stand to one side of the drum opening, and point a hose into the drum, aimed at the back center of the drum. It will for the most part, clean itself with this procedure but pay special attention to the point where the concrete exits the drum. No waste water should be left inside the drum; if so, the cleaning fee will apply. Once the drum is clean, move the MIX/DUMP lever to neutral, and using the RAISE/LOWER lever, raise the trailer all the way up to the traveling position.
4 Hose down the exterior of the barrel. Reinstall drum cover. Set the FLOW CONTROL to ZERO and switch the MIX/DUMP valve to MIX. Slowly set the FLOW CONTROL BETWEEN 4-6. DO NOT TURN OFF THE ENGINE! Turn the hand crank of the hitch adjustment assembly until the trailer frame is level with the ground. This will prevent the trailer from FISHTAILING on your return. SAFE TOWINGS PRACTICES WARNING!!! Under State Vehicle Code # 29004, you may not exceed the manufacturer's rating of your trailer hitch, trailer ball, the trailer manufacturer's approved capacity, and your vehicle manufacturer's rated towing capacity Trailers shall not be towed over 55 MPH 1 yard of concrete plus tumbler weighs 6400 pounds 1/2 yard of concrete plus tumbler weighs 4300 pounds Stay in right lane except when passing Mirrors are required if vision is blocked by trailer Hand tighten coupler.
