7 Should you receive anyplants in questionable condition within the week of shipment,let us know within 10 days & if need be, we will replace them,or refund the purchase price. You pay only the shipping about the condition of the plants & the date youreceived them is necessary. If the shipping box is damaged,please notify both the carrier and Sandy Mush Herb any case, we are not liable for more than the amount re-ceived for the stock in question. 8 If no one is at home during the day, you shouldrequest that your shipment be delivered to another addresswhere someone can receive it. Otherwise, we can try to haveUPS leave your order outside in a protected area, provided yousend a signed request to that effect. Please do NOT do thishowever, if you do not have a suitable spot such as a shadyporch, or if you may not be at home for several days at a time. Ifplants are delayed in delivery or returned because of faultyaddress, through no fault of our own, we will make individualarrangements for : We ship by United Parcel Service UPS, groundservice to most of the country and use UPS air service to farpoints to assure delivery of plants within the week of ship-ment. Priority Mail service, Postal Service, is see order form for all Dates: We can ship plants to you year-round,weather permitting.
9 Please tell us as closely as possible whenyou want your stock, since you know your local weather betterthan we do. When saying ASAP, remember that As Soon AsPossible may mean: Now; when spring (fall) planting time hascome, or As soon as plants are available. Please help us bybeing as precise as you can! We do our very best to honorspecific date requests, but it is impossible to absolutely guaran-tee shipment dates. Spring, early summer & fall are goodplanting seasons for most of the country. Late fall and winterseem to be best for the frost-free South. We will use our bestjudgment, along with climate maps, when no date or month : We try to have an elegant sufficiency of all ourplants available at all times, but this is not always possible.
10 Weprovide space on our order blank for you to request substitutesof your choice. If none are indicated, we are happy to chooseplants from a like use and scent grouping so that you mayplant your garden with no delays. Where substitution is notdesired or and order cannot be filled completely, credits orrefunds will be given. Note: When you order one of our com-plete Herb Gardens or Special Collections, we reserve the rightto choose, where necessary, suitable substitutes of equal orbetter Instructions: Please keep this Handbook /catalog as itcontains all growing instructions for our plants.
