1 Triceratopsby Jerry HarrisBegin with a square, white side up, with the vertical diagonal precreased. A square of 10" results in amodel of approximately " long and " tall at the fold the left edge in half,creasing only at the very edge, fold 1/4 at the left side, againcreasing only at the edge, and fold 1/8 at the left side, againcreasing only at the edge, and unfold. This is the mark that is referred to inStep fold lower angle bisectors tothe center and fold, connecting the tops of theangle bisectors, and fold through a point 2/3 the waybetween the top point and the creaseconnecting the angle bisectors (madein Step 5)

4 The model will still notlay flat, but will be concave instead of fold the now concave flap down along thecrease made in Step 14, and flatten the result. Fold the flap containing the smallpreliminary base back down to the Steps 13-19 in mirror image on the right the square at the top as a preliminary fold the bottoms of the long, rectangular stripsto the center line and the angle of the lower end of therectangular flaps. This will give the model a degree ofthree-dimensionality. Repeat the crimp the belly with a mountain fold. The front endof the fold should meet or go slightly past the rightedge of the front leg; the back end of the fold linecontinues under the hind leg, where you will have tosquash a gusset by folding the edge of paper to meetthe front edge of the leg (the folds inside the leg areindicated by the x-ray lines.)
9 Repeat reverse fold the front leg twice, curling themforwards. Double reverse fold a foot on the hind leg. Repeat reverse fold the tail, bringing it back up closeto horizontal. Reverse fold the tip of the front foot in toshorten it. Repeat the front foot fold fold the small triangle above the head (the frill)in half. Crease heavily, and the rabbit ear which forms the frill point (foldedin Step 50a), allowing the flap on the far side of themodel to swing upwards. The first small preliminarybase (from Step 9) will are going to make the frill larger by unfolding thepreliminary base.
10 Grabbing only the uppermost layer(at the circled point), pull it to the right. The thickerpoint (the one you folded in Step 55) will swingoutwards so that, in the diagram, it will be pointing outof the page towards you. The next diagram showsthis down the raised center point, using themountain folds formed by the valley fold in Step paper will be pulled out from the sides of the frillas you do this. The resultant flap won't lay the rabbit ear you unfolded in Step 56 thefolds should reform rather easily. The paper will nowlie fold the horns up as far a single layer down from the side ofthe snout; some paper will be pulled outfrom under the horn.
