2 Attendance, based on last year s experience, is expected to again reach 50,000 over the four days. As with many other Rotary events, our objective is not only to raise funds for the community of St. Catharines, but also to offer an enjoyable family-oriented event. In addition to food concessions, entertainment and a children s area, we also include an area where products and services can be demonstrated or sold. There will be no charge for visitors to enter the park. Exhibitor/Vendor Spots Are Available! Outdoor spaces are available on an application basis only and with limits on the number of vendors that can sell similar products.

3 Please do not send cheques until a spot has been confirmed. You may email the attached form to the email below to request a space. We invite you to review and complete the attached exhibitor information form as well as the terms and conditions for participating in what has proven to be a great event. Once we have confirmed that a spot is available, the exhibitor declaration on the last page must be signed and returned with a check covering rental space(s) required. Your signed exhibitor declaration form and payment must be received no later than June 1st in order to reserve your space.

The Exhibitor hereby agrees to pay the space rental fee as outlined in the Agreement Form. Forward the check for payment, payable to the Rotary Club of St. Catharines with this completed and signed agreement form. 2. The power is 120 volt, 15 Amps and is for lighting and small appliances. For safety, outlets cannot be shared with other vendors. Safe extension cords must be supplied by the exhibitor (up to 100 may be required). 3. The use of said space shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions of Participation and to all further rules and regulations now or hereinafter adopted for the conduct of the Event, which are hereby made a part of this Agreement and to which the Exhibitor agrees to strictly conform.

The exhibitor will hold the Rotary Club of St. Catharines harmless from any damage, expense or liability arising from any injury or damage to any person, including the general public, the exhibitor, its agents, servants or employees or to the property of the Exhibitor or others occurring either in the space occupied by the Exhibitor or elsewhere, arising out of its occupancy hereunder, or anything connected with said occupancy. 5. The Exhibitor warrants and represents that the work to be shown shall not infringe or violate any law of copyright and agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Rotary Club of St.

8 Catharines and its organizers from any and all claims made as a result of copyright infringement. In particular, the use of the Ribfest and/or Rotary logo may not be used without written consent. 6. This agreement may be terminated by the Rotary Club of St. Catharines at any time on the breach of any of the conditions hereof by the Exhibitor, and thereupon all its rights hereunder shall cease and terminate, and any payments made by it on account hereof prior to the termination shall be retained by the Rotary Club of St. Catharines as liquidated damages for such breach, and the Rotary Club of St.

9 Catharines may thereupon reassign said space. 7. The Ribfest is a family event and hence the products and services demonstrated must be appropriate. Items such as swords, drug paraphernalia, and pornographic material are not appropriate. This final approval is at the discretion of the Rotary Club of St. Catharines and all booths will be periodically inspected throughout the Event. 8. Only items described in the appropriate space above are to be displayed and sold. The Rotary Club of St. Catharines may remove any item it deems not acceptable or are outside of the description provided.

10 9. The Rotary Club of St. Catharines is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of vandalism or an act of God. 10. Exhibitors shall ensure that they have appropriate and adequate liability and property insurance. 11. It is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that their exhibit is safe and free of hazards. This includes, but is not limited to ensuring that booth tents meet with local municipal Fireproof regulations and standards and that they are grounded/adequately weighted, in the event of high winds or significant rainfall. 12. Sales permits and collection of all appropriate sales tax and any labeling required by law is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor.
