2 Superior transmissioncharacteristics and low phase noise accommodates digitaldata that would normally be transmitted via DSCS (X- band )or Commercial (C- band and Ku- band ) TSS-CXK Satellite Simulator contains built in widebandinput and output horn antennas. The nominal TSS-CXKconversion gain, including antenna gains, is adjustablefrom -10 dB to -40 dB. Assuming a meter earthterminal under test, with a range in the order of 300 feetbetween the terminal and the TSS-CXK, a received C/KTin the order of 75 dB-Hz can be achieved with a terminalcarrier power in the order of only a few milliwatts (exactlevels depend on the frequency of operation, and thespecific terminal parameters).
