4 Changes after times have been issued can be notified to until 10 on Friday 12th Octoner. Any change after that must be put in writing and handed to the Secretary on the day. Any change must be submitted no later than 30 MINUTES before the start of the relevant class. AWARDS Rosettes to the first eight teams in each competition. Perpetual trophy to the winning team in each discipline. Rosettes to the first six individuals in each arena (Dressage, riding Test and Horse Trials). Perpetual trophy to the winner and rosettes to the first six individuals in the show jumping.
5 Perpetual trophy for the best turned out team and rosettes to the top three best turned out teams in the Show Jumping. The Natasha Trophy (kindly donated by Victor Attwooll) will be presented to the club with the best overall performance on the day. PRIZE GIVING Prize giving for each competition will take place 30 minutes after the results have been published. Prize winners will be expected to attend prize-giving on foot but smartly dressed ( in correct dress for that discipline although competitors may wear team colours rather than jackets).
6 Page | 3 HELPERS: Horse Trials: two nominated helpers per team are required. Show Jumping: one nominated helper per team is required. Dressage & riding Test teams: one nominated helper per team is required. Team managers are responsible for completing the helpers form (see LSE website) with names and contact details for each helper. However where a club from area 6, 11 or 13 is entering just one team at these CHAMPIONSHIPS and that team is competing in either dressage or riding test, there is no need to provide a helper.
7 EQUINE PASSPORTS/VACCINATIONS: Horses competing at the L&SE CHAMPIONSHIPS should be vaccinated in accordance with BRC rules but vaccination checks will not be undertaken on this occasion. Please note that the horse s passport must always accompany the horse when it is transported including to any competition as per The Horse Passports Regulations 2009. Competitors are therefore advised to ensure they bring their horse s passport with them to these CHAMPIONSHIPS . HEADGEAR: Protective headwear (as defined in the BRC Handbook 2018) must be worn at all times when mounted whether competing or not at a LONDON & SOUTH East competition and must show a visible AQUA Coloured Tag BRC, BE or PC.
8 If your hat needs tagging please bring it to the secretary s marquee for checking/tagging when collecting your number. Competitors are responsible for ensuring their hat meets the required standard. HORSE TRIALS COMPETITORS: A XC number bib will not be issued to each competitor and therefore competitors do need to bring their own. Medical arm bands must be worn for the cross country section of the horse trials. NUMBERS FOR DRESSAGE, riding TEST & SHOW JUMPING: Card numbers will be issued (separate numbers if doing more than one discipline) these must be used as it is difficult for stewards to see bridle numbers in a large open area .

GENERAL Please take your litter home No mucking out of vehicles to take place on the showground Water is available in the horsebox park Vet in attendance HEALTH & SAFETY The event is organised in accordance with health and safety legislation and all who have, to any extent, control of the site on which this event is run are responsible for ensuring that everything reasonably practicable is done to ensure health, safety and welfare of those attending the event.

For these measures to be effective please take all reasonable precautions to avoid accidents, and obey the instructions of all Stewards and Officials.
