Part 2 will be held on 13th March 2018 Participants must attend all of both days and be willing to carry out supervision between Day One and Day Two Developing Effective Supervision Skills This two-day event is for all health and social care practitioners who are new to or about to embark on supervising staff in their setting Course Outcomes: Participants will have: Explored the basic skills required in providing effective staff supervision Considered some of the difficulties encountered in the supervision relationship and how to respond effectively Developed their skills by carrying out supervision between Day One and Day Two, feeding back to the group on their experience Trainers.

6 Jo Norman Independent Safeguarding and Child Protection Training Consultant This event is part of a rolling programme which explores developmental milestones and the impact of abuse at different stages of childhood This event is suitable for professionals in Working Together Groups 2 & 3 and Level 3 of the Intercollegiate Document Understanding CSE and Working with Victims of Sexual Exploitation Date Time Course Description information 14th March 2017 Applicants can apply for either just the morning event or for the whole day The morning event will help participants to understand CSE and how Children can be exploited. Professionals who work directly with CSE victims are invited to stay for the afternoon session which will focus on direct work with this client group Tools for Working with Sexually Exploited Children This one-day event is for all professionals who work with Children and/or families to engage with the issues around gang, group-related and peer on peer CSE and to equip professionals with tools to undertake safety planning and ensure effective responses to disclosure Course Outcomes: Participants will.
