Sequence measurement is a very easy way of makinga predefined sequence of measurements, at the press of a few keys, without anyprogramming effort, and without any connection between units other than the signal users should refer to chapter 7 for applications advice on testing specific devices andalso appendix A which lists the items supplied with the LA100 and the optionalaccessories which are available.

In all cases the most important information can be found at the start of eachchapter; the sections towards the end of each chapter describe the technical details andmore specialist the LA101 Audio Oscillator and LA102 Audio Measuring Set are twoindependent units, they are generally used together, and for convenience are then referredto as the LA100 Audio Analyser .

9 The LA100R is a rack mount version of the LA100consisting of the LA101 and LA102 bolted together, side by side, to go into a 19" appendix A for conversion kit details. Units with serial numbers below 3430 use non-backlitdisplays, and for good contrast it is essential that light strikes the display from above thenormal and is reflected off towards the eye below the normal.

10 This requires a large angleof tilt, or high mounting on a shelf or in a rack. Later units are fitted with high contrastbacklit displays, and the viewing angle is less critical. Earlier units can be upgraded tothe backlit display.
