2 It can be installed in minutes into new and existing drains or manholes. The elastomer membrane design means there is only one moving part. The Valve is self-cleansing ensuring it will not block, which results in low maintenance and therefore low operation costs. The WaStop Check Valve also boasts one of the lowest head losses on the market which reduces the risk of damming. WaStop Check Valve is available in dimensions from 75 1800 mm, however, larger or customised dimensions can be manufactured on request. Design Specifications Manufactured using stainless steel EN 316. pVC, HDpE and ss 304 versions are also available. A range of dimensions available, from 75 to 1800 mm (depending on the body, material). Larger or customised dimensions can be manufactured for individual requirements.

3 The flexible membrane design means there is only one moving part. The membrane flexibility can be varied, according to the required function. ( To stop odours, a softer elastomer for easier opening and closing is used). Can be designed to withstand up to 8 m back pressure. The unit can be installed either horizontally or vertically and either at an inlet or outlet. standard anchors and a seal are included for installation in drains. Flanging is standard on ss units from DN1000 and above. Custom flanging available on request. Joint connections are available for purchase upon Approved CE-approved models from 80 200 mm are tested and approved for up to five meters back The WaStop Check Valve consists of just two parts a elastomer membrane and a pipe .

4 The function is simple pressure from flow in the normal flow direction causes the Valve to open just enough to allow the flow through. If there is no flow through the pipe , the Valve closes. The Valve also closes if there is negative pressure or maintenance, rinsing and checking for the Valve is recommended. Care should be taken if high pressure flushing is used.
