1 How to read the Photometric Report Candela Distribution Table The candela distribution table is a tabular listing of the luminaire's candela readings at each given vertical angle when viewed from the side horizontally. In standard indoor photometry, the 0 degree vertical angle denotes the measurement directly below the luminaire (also referred to as nadir). Following from this, 90 degrees is at the equator. 180 degrees is directly above the luminaire (zenith). Polar Candela Plot This is a graphical representation of the candela distribution. The angles marked on the edges are vertical angles with 0 pointed straight down. The displacement from the origin is the candela reading in candelas per rated lumens. Cartesian Candela Plot This is a Cartesian representation of the Polar Candela Plot.
