6 In October 1992, the osha Training Institute Education Center Program was created when osha began partnering with training and educational institutions to conduct osha Training Institute courses . Keene State College was authorized as an osha Training Institute Education Center in 1994, and has subsequently been reauthorized every five years since 1994. The Center is a non-government funded cooperative program of the US Department of Labor osha and Keene State College .The overarching charge for the Education Centers is to support osha in their mission to reach more people through training and education, as it endeavors to promote Safety , reduce injury and illness, and ultimately save lives.

7 Celebrating 20 years as an OTIEC- 1994 to 2014 .Maintain Professional Designations: Continuing Education Units (CEUs) American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) has previously awarded CM credit for many of these courses.
