Group Accommodation: Two Dining Halls: * No bedding provided for any learners. * 1 x Enclosed Dining room next to boma, with braai areas * Uncovered matrasses provided on beds.

(Office will allocate option based on size of group) * All cutlery and crockery is provided to all guests catered for * Groups larger than 229 will have exclusive use of facilities. * Kitchen serves meals between 07h00-21h00 daily. * Late arrivals cannot be catered for a er 21h00. Adult Dining Areas: * DORM 2: * Teachers accompanying a group (not applicable to churches) enjoy - 4 x Rooms with 57 bunk beds in each the use of one of our separate entertainment & dining area. It - 4 x Connecting bathrooms with showers & toilets. overlooks a private dam and garden area that extends to a private Braai area and Swimming Pool. These areas can cater for 4-16 adults per group (if shared).

Camp Camp types include (but are not limited to) the following: Leadership Identification Camps: This is a great option to help schools get an additional, unbiased, opinion of each which can be used in the selection process when choosing leaders / prefects. Each learner is evaluated throughout camp, based on their communication skills, leadership skills, conflict resolution, team work and planning skills. The school will then receive a full analysis of each learner via email, after camp. Leadership Development Camps: This camp option is ideal for the Prefects / Leaders in your school. We focus solely on Leadership skills and enhancing the team unity within your leadership team.
8 Learners are taught how to protect the unity within their leadership team, and how to incorporate the strengths of each member. Special attention is also given to any problematic issues experienced by the school (bullying, drugs, etc), equipping leaders on how to deal with those problems in a constructive and effective manner. Each learner is awarded with a Certificate of Participation', at the end of camp. Grade 8 Ice-Breaker Camps: Help learners kick start their High School Career, on a positive note by getting rid of clicks' and connecting the entire group. We address social issues such as Drug Abuse, Bullying and Cyber-Bullying with exciting talks and presentations to create a platform where learners are able to talk about any anxieties and fears they might have. We also incorporate a culture of RESPECT, not only towards their peers, but towards teachers and school leadership. This camp also creates an effective opportunity for schools to instill their core values within this new group.
9 Grade 8 camps are hosted from the beginning of the December School Holidays as well as January through March, annually. Adventure & Fun Camps: Arrange a fun, adventurous camp as a reward for a special group or grade of learners. Let them explore and be exposed to new experiences. These programs vary depending on group size and ages. Matric Study Camps: Take the mission' out of Matric Exam preparation. Nothing beats doing revision, surrounded by beautiful nature and close friends. Educators also enjoy a break from the mundane routine at school, and schedule all study sessions as and how they see taking breaks with fun activities in between. Youth Camps: Maraneman offers everything necessary to make any youth camp spectacular! Our hall is fully equipped with a sound system, lights and projector. And our activities completely adaptable to your needs. Sport, Fitness & Team Building: Our sport facilities include a junior rugby field that is adaptable for both rugby and soccer.
10 Marking of field lines are done with our own chalk machine. 6 x Grass Netball fields also available. Construction of our new Sport Centre has commenced, which will include the following: 2 Full Size Rugby Fields, 6 Coaching Rooms, Bathroom & Shower Facilities, Roof-top Pavillion, Large Dining area, Kitchenette. Break Room, Boma/Braai area and Water-pits. Completion is expected 2019 (date not confirmed). Environmental & Conservation Camp-Tour: Whilst focussing on ways to conserve our planet, learners enjoy the following: Tour of our Bio-gas plant, Solar Water system, fun activities on water purification and much more. Your tour may also include visits to: Emerald Animal World, Weltevreden Lion Park (interaction with wild animals), Rand Water Purification Plant (with a ride on the Water Wise train), Fun Swimming at the Aqua Dome, and a tour of the Vaal Dam Sluice Gates.
