4 Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chew-ing gum, using tobacco, or using the PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)Some materials that are chemically resistant to this product are listed below. Applicators and other handlers must wear:1. Long-sleeved shirt and long pants2. Chemical-resistant gloves such as natural rubber, Selection category A3. Shoes plus socks4. Protective eyewear (goggles, face shield, or safety glasses) USER SAFETY REQUIREMENTSF ollow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot and wash PPE separately from other CONTROLSWhen handlers use closed systems, enclosed cabs, or aircraft in a manner that meets the requirements listed in the Worker ProtectionStandard (WPS) for agricultural pesticides [40 CFR (d)(4-6)], the handler PPE ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDSA zoxystrobin can be persistent for several months or longer.

5 Azoxystrobin has degradation products which have properties similar to chemi-cals which are known to leach through soil to ground water under certain conditions as a result of agricultural use. Use of this chemical inareas where soils are permeable, particularly where the water table is shallow may result in ground water and propiconazole are toxic to freshwater and estuarine/marine fish; and azoxystrobin is toxic to aquatic invertebrates. Do notapply directly to water except as specified on this LABEL . For terrestrial uses, do not apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water ispresent or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. 7 COVER XL Fungicide may improve the yield and/or quality of the crop. These additional benefits are due to positive effectson plant physiology. The effects may vary according to other factors such as the crop, crop hybrid, or environment. COVER XL may be appliedas a foliar spray in alternating spray programs or in tank mixes with other crop protection products. All applications must be made accordingto the use directions that USE INSTRUCTIONSA pplication:Thorough coverage is necessary to provide good disease control. Make up no more spray solution than is needed for applica-tion. Avoid spray overlap, as crop injury may :For some uses on this LABEL , a spreading/penetrating type adjuvant such as a non-ionic surfactant, crop oil concentrate, or blendmay be added at the manufacturer's recommended rates.

8 Adjuvants that contain some form of silicone can contribute to phytotoxicity. Whenan adjuvant is used with this product, the use of an adjuvant that meets the standards of the Chemical Producers and Distributors Association(CPDA) adjuvant certification program is Tolerance/Phytotoxicity: COVER XL demonstrates some phytotoxic effects when mixed with products that are formulated as effects are enhanced if applications are made under cool, cloudy conditions and these conditions remain for several days followingapplication. In addition, adjuvants that contain some form of silicone can contribute to phytotoxicity. Under certain environmental conditions,tank mixes of COVER XL plus herbicides and/or fertilizers may cause crop injury in barley, triticale and :Under certain conditions conducive to extended infection periods, use another registered fungicide for additional applications ifmaximum amount of COVER XL has been used.

10 COVER XL may be used in State Agricultural Extension advisory (disease forecasting) programs which recommendapplication timing based on environmental factors favorable for disease USE REQUIREMENTSUse this product only in accordance with its labeling and with the Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR part 170. This Standard containsrequirements for the protection of agricultural workers on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses, and handlers of agricultural pesti-cides. It contains requirements for training, decontamination, notification, and emergency assistance. It also contains specific instructionsand exceptions pertaining to the statements on this LABEL about personal protective equipment (PPE), notification to workers, and restricted-entry interval.
