Welcome to our 2nd Sunday of Livestream worship with our Faith family! During this very unusual season of being safer at home, all of our Bible Study Classes and Worship Services have been transitioned to digital formats. While we are thankful to have the technology to stay connected through the internet, I sure miss being with our members in person.
9 It is my prayer that we will never take for granted the opportunities we have to worship and study God s Word together! This past Sunday morning was a remarkable display of the unity of our church family. Using great patience, a large number of members and guests joined us for the 10:00am worship service online. Many others have viewed the service since that time on our website. Our Media Team reported that we had over 3000 unique devices that connected to the service and that represents an estimated number of over 4000 people worshipping together online! Again today, we are hoping for a tremendous number of people joining us for worship online. Our Media Team has corrected some of the difficulties we experienced last week and we hope everyone will be able to connect at 10:00am with no trouble.
10 There is always the option of viewing the recorded worship service on our website later, but I love having so many people gathered at the same time sharing in singing, prayer, and the study of God s Word together. It is different for sure but we are praying for a return to our regular life patterns soon! We are continuing our Impossible sermon series this morning with a message from Luke 8 and the miracle of Jesus calming the storm. This is such a perfect text for our current situation. I trust that you will be encouraged and strengthened by the truth from Scripture this morning.
