www.epa.govNo federal maximum contaminant level (MCL) for drinking water has been established (EPA 2012). 1,4-Dioxane is included on the fourth drinking water contaminant candidate list and is included in the Third Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (EPA 2009; EPA 2016a). EPA’s drinking water equivalent level is 1 mg/L (EPA 2012).
