Tapered inlet is designed to create turbulence andkeep solids in suspension. Deep 316 SS stuffing box is integral with the bodyand filled with high-efficiency braided Teflon-acrylicpacking. 316 SS gate is ground and polished and utilizes asharp leading edge for non-clogging shut-off. Wedge blocks are positioned to force the gate againstthe seat for a positive seal.

4 Heavy duty one piece cast 304 SS yoke. Stainless steel stem provides excellent corrosion resis-tance while the single lead thread allows easyhandwheel operation. Acid resistant bronze stem nut has engineeredgrease passages to allow proper lubrication of thestem and stem nut. Rugged ductile iron handwheel is standard; avail-able with lever, bevel gear, cylinder, motor or otheroperators. Stainless steel bolting on packing gland, yoke andgate clevis. Viton is standard resilient seat material; other elas-tomers are availble.
