( Kia )warrants that it will arrange for an Authorized Kia dealerat locations of its choice to provide for the repair of yourvehicle if it fails to function properly during normal service facilities will remedy such failures tofunction properly at Kia s expense, if you present yourvehicle to such a service facility during its normaloperating hours, provide sufficient Information to permita proper identification and diagnosis of the failure tofunction, and permit the facility adequate time toperform the necessary repair.

6 As this obligation issubject to the terms , conditions and limitations of thismanual, you should refer to the Manual to understandwhich repairs and replacements are covered by thiswarranty. When an Authorized Kia Dealer makesnecessary repairs pursuant to the Warranty , it may do sousing parts that are new, repaired, remanufactured,reconditioned, or otherwise authorized by Kia. Theseparts will be covered by the terms and conditions of theReplacement Parts and Accessories limited Warranty . Ifan Authorized Kia Dealer declines or fails to carry out aproper repair or replacement covered by this limitedwarranty without charge to you, Kia will (a) determine ifthe repair or replacement requested by you is covered bythis New Vehicle limited Warranty and, if so, (b) obtaincooperation from an Authorized Kia Dealer to conductsuch repair or replacement without charge to , Kia s obligation to do (a) and (b) requires youto contact the Kia Consumer Assistance Center andprovide all materials needed by them to carry out thoseobligations to you.

For the purpose of allwarranties contained in this Manual (other thanwarranties on replacement parts or accessoriesinstalled after the Kia Vehicle was placed into use),What is CoveredNew Vehicle limited WarrantyNew Vehicle limited Warranty5the Warranty period begins on the Date of FirstService.

8 Date of First Service means the first datethe Kia Vehicle is delivered to the first retailpurchaser, is leased or is placed into service as acompany vehicle use ( , as a demonstrator, rentalor fleet vehicle), whichever is earliest. Moreover,whenever this Manual refers to a Warranty period ofmonths/miles, it means whichever comes first. Anyremaining portion of any Warranty , except the 120month/100,000 mile Power Train (Original Owner) Warranty , is fully transferable to subsequent owners. 2. Warranty Coverage Basic Warranty CoverageExcept as limited or excluded below, all componentsof your new Kia Vehicle are covered for 60months/60,000 miles from the Date of First Service,whichever comes first (Basic limited WarrantyCoverage).

9 This Warranty does not cover wear andmaintenance items, or those items excludedelsewhere in the Manual . See Exceptions and What is Not Covered. Power Train CoverageFor Original Owners (defined below), the PowerTrain limited Warranty begins upon expiration of the60 month/60,000 mile Basic limited WarrantyCoverage, and will continue to cover the followingcomponents up to 120 months or 100,000 miles fromthe Date of First Service, whichever comes first. Itdoes not cover normal wear and tear, maintenance, orthose items excluded elsewhere in this Manual .

10 See Exceptions and What is Not Covered. The items covered by the Power Train LimitedWarranty include:- In the Engine:Cylinder block, cylinder head andall internal parts, timing gear, seals and gaskets,valve cover, flywheel, oil pump, water pump andturbo In the Transaxle:Transmission case and allinternal parts, torque converter, drive shafts,universal joints, front hubs, bearings, seals andgaskets. - In the Axles:Axle shafts and C-V jointsNew Vehicle limited Warranty (couplings), seals, hub and wheel the Transmission:Transmission case, transfercase, torque converter and all internal parts, seals,and the Differentials:Front and rear differentialassemblies, cases, all internal parts, seals the Propeller Shafts:Drive shafts, universaljoints.
