6 Notice to students and prospective students: Education Management Corporation campuses have been placed on probation by their accreditor, the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools ( ACICS ), based on financial stability standards. Based on a letter received from ACICS after the August 2017 meeting, the Council considered the show-cause directive for the institutions. As a result of its review, the Council has acted to vacate the show-cause directive. In addition, the Council has acted to place the institutions on financial reporting.
