In such cases extra pairs of clothes come in handy. Some hotels have conveniences to hang hand washed clothing (if need be). It would be a good idea to carry a small pack of detergent. Detergents are also available for purchase in Makkah and Madina. (Washing your own clothes is recommended only for emergency situations.)
