In 2014, the program was expanded to offer authors a wider range of options, such as Creative Commons licenses and provisions for embargoed open access, coupled with ACS Certified Deposit programs. One-time fees are as low as US $750 for ACS members at all-ACS Publications subscribing institutions. RewardsACS Author Rewards is an ACS open access program introduced in 2014 to help authors transition to new open access publishing models.
