District 79 serves high school students, young adults, and students with unique needs ( incarcerated youth or adults pursuing a GED) who require alternative pathways to a quality Education . Recognizing that many students need additional support, District 79 was established to help these students succeed by providing diverse and innovative educational opportunities that combine rigorous academic instruction with meaningful development. 6.
