1 2018/19 SALES CALENDAR Situated on the Yorkshire/Lancashire Border In the heart of the Dales and Pennine Hills (12 miles from M6 Junction 34) Tel: 015242 61444 Fax: 015242 63857 Website: CONDITIONS OF SALE All Stock is sold under the National Conditions of Sale as recommended by the LAA (as displayed in the mart office.) Please note that all SALES are conducted under DEFRA movement regulations. NOTICE TO BUYERS The Cattle and Sheep are direct from Farmers in the surrounding Dales and Hill Farms. Lairage, commission purchases and road haulage can be arranged and every assistance will be given to customers. Please contact the Auctioneers should any help be required. DIPPING All Breeding Sheep & Store Sheep are required to have been vaccinated or dipped in scab approved dip within 28 days prior to the sale.

2 SHEEP LICENCES All sheep to be accompanied by an ARAMS-1 movement licence. Bentham Auction CPH Number is 48/840/8001 LIVESTOCK TAGGING SHEEP All sheep must be tagged, any sheep born 1st January 2010 & after intended for breeding purposes require full EID. Animals destined for slaughter by 12 months of age must be tagged with a single EID slaughter tag. CATTLE All cattle must be double tagged before leaving the vendors holding. All tags must be legible. Worn, damaged or hand written tags are not acceptable. We are unable to accept cattle onto the premises which are not correctly identified. TB PRE-MOVEMENT TESTING If a vendors herd is on a 1 or 2 year routine TB test, cattle 42 days and older brought into the market must have tested negative within 60 days of the sale date. Copies of test certificates should be provided by the vendor to the office.

3 SHOWS Vendors please note that in any of the pre-sale Shows held at the mart , a maximum entry of 2 pens/animals per class per vendor will be permitted.
