1 2018 Fudan University Postgraduate Program for International Students Key Facts Fudan University offers 174 Master and 134 Doctoral programs from 34 schools and departments to international students in 2018. Master programs 2-3 years, Academic Degree or Professional Degree Doctoral programs 3 years, Academic Degree Eligibility Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid ordinary passport, be in good health, have attained a degree (Bachelor's degree for Master applicants, Master's degree for Doctoral applicants) and meet the language requirements. Language Requirements: (1) For Chinese-taught programs: Major HSK. Art, Humanities and Social sciences Level 5 (score 240 or above) or Level 6 (score 180 or above). Sciences, Engineering and Medicine Level 5 (score 210 or above) or Level 6 (score180 or above).

When the online application is confirmed, applicants must send the required paper documents to school or department you apply by courier or in person in two weeks. Personal statement It requires above 1000 words for master applicants and above 1500 words for PhD applicants written in Chinese if you apply for Chinese-taught programs or in English for English-taught ones. The content should include (but not limited to) study and work experience, academic research achievement, planned research proposal, and career plan after graduation, etc. 3. Two recommendation letters The referee must be professor or associate professor or person with relevant academic title. The recommendation letter must be in Chinese or English with the referee's signature and contact information. If the recommendation letter is sealed, you do not need to upload it online, but mail the sealed recommendation letter directly to the relevant school or department of Fudan University .

5 4. Transcripts of highest degree conferred (Master or Bachelor). 5. Diploma of highest degree conferred (Master or Bachelor) or proof of impending graduation (for applicants in their final year of study). 6. Language certificate and score report (Chinese or English). 7. Completely filled Foreigner Physical Examination Form. (for applicants who apply for the scholarships only, valid for 6 months). Scholarship Fudan University offers different scholarships to support outstanding international students in pursuing their Postgraduate study. I. Chinese Government Scholarship (Chinese University Program ). Chinese University Program is a full scholarship for designated Chinese universities and certain provincial education offices in specific provinces or autonomous regions to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies in China. Eligibility 1. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens and in good health. 2. Applicants are pre-admitted by Fudan University , except for the following applicants: I. Applying for a joint degree Program II. Applying for language and literature programs of one's native language or the third language, such as English and French, etc.
