Many of these are new to the event, and there are some interesting new venues too. We hope you will enjoy visiting artists in their studios, and finding out about the huge amount of creativity that happens in Sheffield and surrounding areas. 4 Making art isn t only about intellectual ability, it is also about finding another language, playing, referencing other artists, life and loves. Anna-Mercedes is a much loved Sheffield artist, and very valued member of the Open Up team. Sadly, she has inoperable cancer.
