1 Note: Jacket and T-shirt sizes are in INCHES 2022 girl Scout Cookie Program Rewards The Rewards below require that a choice be made; please indicate your choices for your girl Scout , even if you are not sure that she will reach the reward level. This will ensure accuracy for your Troop Leader/ Cookie Chair when she is finalizing awards at the end of the season and will help council make sure we order the correct sizes for your girl Scout . Once a choice has been made, there can be no changes. As you select a size, please check each measurement to ensure the best fit for your girl Scout . Keep in mind that she may grow between March and when Rewards are due to be distributed (currently expected to be late summer). For youth sizes, you may want to consider ordering 1 size larger. LA Zoo currently has a koala exhibit in the Australia section of the Zoo. They cut eucalyptus daily at the zoo, around Griffith Park, and at their dedicated 5 -acre eucalyptus browse farm at the Sepulveda Garden Center in Encino. That farm was planted a year before their first koalas arrived in 1982 and has been growing ever since. When the Zoo s first koalas (two males and six females) arrived on March 3, 1982, these iconic creatures from Down Under were rarely seen outside Australia. As part of the stringent conditions the Zoo had to meet before the transaction was approved by the Australian government, eucalyptus branches from were flown to the Melbourne Zoo so the koalas could sample them.

5 Fortunately, the finicky eaters approved of their California cuisine! 130+ packages - you have contributed 2 hex lag bolts to secure a perch for the koala exhibit. 500+ packages you have contributed 2 pairs of Kevlar sleeves for arm protection when we need to hold our feisty koalas for an exam. 800+ packages- you have contributed 2 corona bypass hand loppers to cut the eucalyptus to feed to the koalas into the bouquets you would see out on exhibit. 1200+ packages - you have contributed 5 5-gallon eucalyptus tereticornis, a favorite species the koalas love that would be planted to feed the koalas for years to come. 1500+ packages - you have contributed 15 1-gallon eucalyptus camaldulensis silverton, a staple of the koalas at almost every meal and these trees too would be planted to grow food.

6 2000+ packages - you have contributed 1 Leonard Pole Pruner Kit - an essential tool for us to harvest even the highest branches of eucalyptus to feed our koalas. 3000+ packages - you have contributed 2 outdoor weatherproof fans for the exhibit to keep the eucalyptus and koalas cool in our steamy summers. Program Credits - Program Credit can be used in the girl Scout Shop; for Membership Registration (for the girl only); register for a girl Scout Day, Resident or Specialty Camp; for other Council Program Events or Trainings ( , Gold Award Workshop), or, for girls who are aged 11 and older, toward a Destinations trip. Troop Money - Girls who reach the 500+, 1200+, 1500+ and 2000+, and 3000+ reward levels may choose to forgo the Reward item(s) or Program Credit and instead give the value of the Program Credit to their troop.

7 This choice can be made for each of the stated package levels the girl reaches. The giving of troop money is for the troop to use toward activities that the girl will attend. These funds are not earmarked for the girl ; they become troop funds that the girl can benefit from along with the rest of the troop. Cookies for the Community - The Cookies for the Community (C4C) Program (formerly Gift of Caring) is a council-wide community service project that gives girl Scouts the opportunity to learn philanthropy and community service. Troops collect monetary donations from customers for cookies to be purchased by GSGLA, who coordinates delivery to our Cookies for the Community partners. Higher Rewards Note: We have added events to our reward line up for 2022, but if it becomes necessary to cancel any event, the reward will default to the item listed for that level.

Sweet Elite - Girls who sell 1200+ packages choose one of the following: Disneyland Resort - an exclusive event at Cars Land in California Adventure on May 7, 2022 ( girl & ONE Chaperone**). (Please be aware that anyone entering the parks must sign a waiver before tickets can be purchased, if families wish to purchase additional tickets GSGLA cannot guarantee that tickets will be available due to Disney s reservation and waivers policy. girl and chaperone must attend breakfast/ Program to receive hopper ticket. We must adhere to any restrictions Disney imposes on the park for that day.)

These proceeds go into the troop s funds to benefit all girls in the troop. They can be used toward troop activities, such as troop meetings and supplies, trips, overnights; purchases for the troop from the Council Shop; or pay for girls yearly membership. These funds are not earmarked for an individual girl ; they become troop funds that the girl can benefit from along with the rest of the troop.
