5 Expect 2-3 days for your application to be processed. o Have official GED, high school, and/or college transcripts sent to or mailed to NMSU Grants, 1500 N. 3rd St., Grants, NM, 87020. All GED transcripts must be ordered via Diploma Sender at Students who have not submitted their transcripts will not be able to register beyond their first semester. o Apply for federal financial aid (Pell grants, loan, & work study) at o Scholar Dollar is a single application that connects students to all scholarships offered at NMSU. Apply for scholarships with Scholar Dollar 2: Get Ready to Register o All students must be placed into English and Mathematics.

6 Placement can be done via the Accuplacer Test, SAT or ACT, or previous coursework. If you choose not to be placed, you will start with the lowest level of remedial coursework in that subject.
