YIELDING TO AN AUTHORIZED EMERGENCY VEHICLE (AEV)Drivers are required to immediately pull over to the right and stop upon the approach from either direction of an AEV with lights activated. When approaching a stationary AEV with lights activated, drivers proceeding in the same direction must reduce their speed by at least 10 mph below the posted speed limit and, unless otherwise directed by a police officer, must proceed with caution and yield the right of way by moving over one or more lanes.
