8 D!d!d!d!The PT may contain a small amount of mercury (Hg) as its transmission medium. If thediaphragm is damaged, mercury may escape. Other configurations will contain NaK, aSodium Potassium fill fluid, and others may contain a food grade oil. Both NaK and the foodgrade oil meet the requirements of the FDA and the USDA for food and medical transport or store the PT without the protective cap.
