1 41 class Open Village Show. Sunday 10th June 2018. Entry fees 30p per class per entry.(excluding children's classes). Entries to be accompanied by fees to be made by 6 pm on Wednesday 6th June 2018 to:- Trish Hunter, 24,Count Alan Road, SKEGNESS. PE25 1ER. Tel:- 07986 591183. Enquiries:- GENERAL SHOW RULES. 1: All entries to be brought to the Show between 8 . 00am and 9 . 30am on Sunday 10th June 2018. 2: All exhibitors to have cleared the Judging Areas by 9 . 45am. 3: No exhibits may be removed before 4 . 00pm. All exhibits to be cleared by 4 . 30pm. 4: No item previously entered at Friskney Show may be re-entered. 5: All entries are, where applicable, to have been entirely the work of, or been in the possession of the entrant for a minimum of three months 6: The Judges decision is final.
2 7: Points will be awarded in each section. A Trophy will be awarded to the exhibitor with the most points in each section. The exhibitor with the most points over-all will be awarded The Friskney Show Trophy' which will be competed for annually. Prize Money: 1st 2, 2nd 1, 3rd 50p for classes 1 32. CHILDREN'S Classes have separate Awards 8: The Show organisers will not be responsible for loss or damage to exhibits, or any items belonging to exhibitors or spectators. (2). ART & PHOTOGRAPHY SECTION: class 1: A Water Colour painting class 2: An Art Work in any other medium. class 3: A Photograph of Friskney TAKEN in the last year. class 4 : A Photograph depicting Rural Life'. class 5: A picture using natural materials (eg: twigs, leaves etc.)

FLOWERS & PLANTS SECTION: class 6: One Specimen Rose' to be judged on scent'. class 7: Flowering Shrubs, one vase, three stems, three kinds. class 8: Vase of Herbaceous Perennials, one stem, three kinds. class 9: Vase of Herbs, one stem, three kinds. class 10: Foliage Pot Plant having been in the exhibitors ownership for a minimum of 3 months. (Max. 10in (25 cm) pot). class 11: Flowering Pot Plant having been in the exhibitors ownership for a minimum of 3. months. (Max. 10in (25 cm) pot class 12: Cacti Plant having been in the exhibitors ownership for a minimum of 3 months. (Max. 10in (25 cm) pot). class 13: Flower and / or Foliage Arrangement in a watering can to fit a space 2 ft x 2 ft. (60 cm x 60 cm). class 14: Miniature rural scene in a seed tray using any materials.)
4 (3). COOKERY SECTION: class 15: A Jar of Jam - any flavour. (1 lb jar with screw top lid). class 16: A Jar of Marmalade (1 lb jar with screw top lid). class 17 : A Jar of Curd - any flavour. class 18: A Jar of Pickles or Chutney. class 19: A Home-made Cordial. class 20: A Victoria' sponge cake (3 eggs). class 21: A Lincolnshire Tea Loaf'. class 22 : Three (3) Scones. CRAFT SECTION: class 23: A Knitted item. class 24: Any Crocheted item. class 25: Any Sewn item. class 26: A Patchwork item. class 27: A Corn Dolly'. class 28: Any other Craft item made from Wood. class 29: A hand-made' item of Jewellery. class 30: A Green Man' mask. class 31: An item made from materials from the hedgerow. class 32: A 100th' birthday card. (4). CHILDREN'S SECTION: Awards donated by Friskney Show.
5 (Awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.). Age 8 years and under. class 33: A Potato Stamped' picture. (A4 size). class 34: Handwriting Competition - One man went to mow .. First four lines. class 35: A Daisy Chain. Age 9 -16 years. class 36: A Potato Stamped' picture. (A4 size). class 37: Handwriting Competition - 1st verse of Jerusalem'. class 38: A model of a Maypole'. per entry. Prize money of 10 will be awarded in each section. class 39: Junior Section - under 16. class 40: Senior Section - over 16. class 41: Organisation or company section. ALL scarecrows to be brought to the Village Hall between 0900 - 1200 on Saturday 9th June. These will be judged, and then displayed outside in the Village , either at the church or Village hall. (Friskney Show Committee will bear NO responsibility for scarecrows whilst on display.)
6 (5). Fun Dog Show Entries taken from 10 am, judging begins at 12 noon. Classes 1: Best Puppy / Youngster (under 6 months). 2: Golden Oldie (Over 8 years old). 3: Beautiful Bitch. 4: Handsome Boy. 5: Scruffiest Mutt. 6: Long-haired fluffy coat. 7: Short-haired wirey coat. 8: Odd pair. (Least alike, same owner.). 9: Family of dogs. (3 or more living together.). 10: Waggiest Tail. 11: Most Appealing Eyes. 12: Best Rescue / Re-homed. 13: Judges Personal Favourite. 14: Best in Show - to be judged in main arena. Rosettes for places 1st - 3rd and Best in Show' will be awarded ALL Classes are 1 each per dog per class . (Except class 14 - Best in Show'.). Please use separate entry form to be collected on the day. (6).
