7 The use of computer -aided design within our industry is an emerging field, and getting more sophisticated with time as more designers, engineers, and contractors learn how to use this tool for stream-lining the HVAC design process. Please note that our January meeting is planned to be a lunch meeting at Mario s. The late Lynn Bellenger was scheduled to be our speaker. In her memory, we will use a portion of that meeting to pay tribute to Lynn and remember some of her many accomplishments. Enid Cardinal, the new Director of Sustainability at RIT, will be discussing the direction of sustainability on campus.

10 Her talk will focus on sustainability issues that RIT will address in the future, including climate neutrality and a reduction in greenhouse gases as outlined in the American Col-lege & University Presidents Climate Commitment. RIT appointed Enid Cardinal senior sustainability advisor for the university in 2011. Cardinal is a LEED-accredited pro-fessional with a background in socially responsible investing and environmental policy. Cardinal previously served as director of the Office of Sustainability at Illinois State University. Prior to ISU, she held positions as an independent consultant, social analyst and a project controller.
