We invite suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the following vacant position. Position : Executive Manager: Corporate Services Employment Status : 5-Year Fixed Term Contract Department : Corporate Services Purpose of the Job: To ensures that the divisions and people of JOSHCO are supported with the highest standard of services they require to meet strategic objectives with respect to Human Resources, Communication, and Facilities and that organisational performance against strategy is effectively monitored.

3 Responsibilities (but not limited to the following): STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT Contribute to the strategic direction and risk management related to Human Resources. Prepare a comprehensive budget for all existing and planned positions for JOSHCO . Develop and implement a strategy for Corporate Services that meets the needs of the entire JOSHCO team with respect to HR, Marketing and Communication and Facilities. An Annual Corporate Services Strategy is developed. HUMAN CAPITAL MANAGEMENT Manage human resources development and labour relations Develop, review, and implement Human Resources policies, strategies and procedures Administer the Company s Performance Management System Render expert advice on human resource related matters Ensure compliance with human resources and labour legislative requirements Manage and monitor the performance of staff in the HR, Communications and Administration Units JOSHCO divisions and people are supported with excellent HR services.

4 MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION Handle media queries and respond accordingly Develop, manage, and implement communication strategies for the Company Render event management services Produce, manage, and disseminate information targeted to relevant JOSHCO customers/clients/tenants Preparation of JOSHCO s newsletter Ensure information communicated to customers is accurate and current. Maintaining JOSHCO s website Render and manage effective internal communication in the Company ( dissemination of information on new projects, advising staff on Committee resolutions etc. CONTACT CENTER AND FLEET MANAGEMENT Oversee customer service representatives and Call Centre Ensure all queries are logged, monitored, and followed up till the matter is closed.)

5 Oversee the maintenance of customer records and upkeep of the register of logged queries. Providing report on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress. Minimum job Requirements, interested applicants must be in possession of: A Bachelor`s degree or higher qualification in Human Sciences or any other suitable tertiary qualification. An MBA is highly desirable. A Minimum of 10 years management experience in Corporate Services environment is required of which 4 years must be at senior technical / strategic management level. 5 years experience in the Municipal will be advantageous Knowledge and experience with MFMA will be advantageous.

6 Good knowledge and understanding of institutional governance systems and performance management Good knowledge and understanding of relevant policies and legislation.
