They ex-changed Ramadan greetings with HM the King, wishing them many happy returns. They also wished the King-dom of Bahrain and its loyal people fur-ther progress and prosperity under His Majesty s wise leadershipMinister of Labour & Social Development Jameel Hu-maidan met Bahrain Women Association (BWA) s Chair-person Dina Al-Amir, and head of Social Committee, Nahid Al Kaabi.

3 The Premier lauded the positive atmosphere created by the recent Riyadh Summits regarding the common GCC, Arab, Islamic and American understanding of the nature of the challenges facing the region because of terrorism, and extremism BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received a delegation from the US Congress, led by the Chair-man of the Rules Committee at the US House of Representatives, Peter Sessions at the BDF s General Command yesterday. BDF chief re-viewed with the US delegation the Bahrain-US relations and joint coordination, lauding the long-standing relations between the two friend-ly countries and their peoples, which are growing steadily in all fields.

4 Minister of Defence Affairs Maj. General Yusuf bin Ahmed Al Jalahma and BDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi were also presentMinister of Justice, Islamic Affairs & Endowments Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa re-ceived the chairmen of the two endowment directorates, in the presence of Under-secretary for Islamic Affairs Dr. Farid Al-Meftah yesterday. The minister underlined the need to embrace a moderate Islamic discourse that combats the scourge of terrorism and tackles its intellectual roots and financial sourcesAbdulaziz Al Ahmed, the Bank s General Manager Domestic Banking Group re-ceived Red Crescent Society President Mubarak Al Hadi and presented him with a cheque for BD 10,000 as part of the Bank s donations and contributions pro-gramme for the year 2017, held at the Bank s headquarters.
