Fr Jim is currently priest-in-charge of two congregations within the Diocese of Michigan. He serves at the suburban St John s in Howell, and the village church of St Stephen s in Hamburg. In addition, he also serves on the diocesan Commission on Ministry that is responsible to guiding those discerning a call to ordination. A graduate of Bexley Seabury Seminary in Columbus, Ohio he was ordained to the priesthood in June of 2016 shortly after graduation and began serving both his congregations thereafter. Prior to this, he received his bachelor and master of arts degrees in psychology before working in corporate information technology management for fifteen years.

2 Married to Gabriela for nineteen years, together they are parents to Rachael, Jules and Luciana. His sole hobby is taxiing his daughters to synchronized swimming practice, and his son to lacrosse games. This week he is taking part in Bexley Seabury s Learning from London course which brought 12 students to visit our Parish this week. Taft School Collegium Musicum Concert This week we welcome Taft School from the USA who will be performing a free concert with a retiring collection on Thursday 14 June at All are welcome. 3 In the year that we welcome a new Diocesan Bishop, we re going to visit the palace on Sunday 24 June. We will leave Holy Trinity Church after the Sung Eucharist at 11am and head to Fulham by tube. The guided tour that begins at 2pm costs 6 for adults and is free for children. Please bring a packed lunch. If you would like to come, let our Parish Administrator know by e-mail. The Rev d Preb Gary and Norma Piper We are saying farewell to Fr Gary and Norma Piper on Sunday 1 July at our 11am Sung Eucharist and at The Happening in St Saviour s church ahead of their move to Twickenham. If you would like to contribute to a farewell gift, please send it by post or hand it into the Parish Office in an envelope marked The Pipers with your contact details on by June 30. Ordination of Deacons Two people who have belonged in different ways to Holy Trinity are to be ordained Deacon at the end of the month.

4 Ayla Lepine, who spent a month on placement with us in 2016 and Cameron Abernethy who came regularly to worship with us in 2015 and 2016. Ayla will be ordained in St. Paul s Cathedral on Saturday 30 June at 3pm. Cameron will be ordained in Durham Cathedral on Sunday 1 July at 10am. Please keep them both in your prayers. God willing, Ayla and Cameron will be ordained to the priesthood in 2019. Holy Trinity Pop-Up Tea Shop We are considering reopening the Tea Shop over the summer at weekends. Fr. Grant will be coordinating the project so please let him know if you would like to take part! Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi Next year, the Parish of Holy Trinity and St. Saviour is going on pilgrimage to two historic centres of the Christian Faith - Rome and Assisi. The pilgrimage begins shortly after Easter 2019 from Monday 29 April to Monday 6 May. If you would like to know more details, contact Fr.
