Preach My GospelUse Preach My Gospelto meet your needs as amissionary. You can spend an entire study session onjust a few paragraphs or an entire chapter. You canstudy chapters in order or plan another sequence thatbetter meets your needs. This flexibility allows youto study what you need when you need it and asdirected by your mission of the chapters in Preach My Gospelwill helpprepare you to fulfill your purpose as a , as you begin to study chapter 3, you maysense a difference in approach.

5 Most of the chaptersare addressed to you. Chapter 3 is addressed to a moregeneral audience. You learn the doctrines in chapter3 (a) to strengthen your own Gospel knowledge andtestimony and (b) to teach others and prepare themto make and keep commitments and covenants. The doctrines in some of the other chapters may also help you teach investigators andnew members. For example, chapter 4, How Do I Recognize and Understand the Spirit? may help you teach some investigators about how to gain a testimony by the power ofthe Holy Ghost. You will be most effective as you follow theSpirit, search the scriptures, keep the commandments, and apply what you the chapters throughout your mission. Apply what you learn.
