These units are equipped with a super concentrator which uses a small quantity of stripping gas to achieve glycol purities as high as No other system achieves the process efficiency of the HI-CON unit. BS&B engineers were a part of the industry 's migration from Pennsylvania to Oklahoma, Texas, Mexico and then into all of the oil and gas producing areas of the world. Beginning with the construction of the first redwood Weathering Tanks in 1893. BS&B was a pioneer in the design, manufacture and installation of pollution abatement equipment in the early 1930's. In 1947 BS&B built the first experimental glycol gas dehydration system. In 1972 BS&B applied its oil patch technology to the Pollution Control industry by developing Sulfiban , a highly efficient Coke Oven Gas Clean Up System used in the steel industry .

9 Seven years later during severe gas shortages in the Northeast United States, BS&B engineers utilized existing gas processing technology to design and build the first post World War II commercially successful Coal Gasification Plant for Caterpillar Tractor Company in York, Pennsylvania. By 1991 BS&B engineers were joining forces with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories to design and build a unique Well Fire Control and Gas/Oil Separation system for use in the burning oil fields of Kuwait. In 1995 large projects supplying entire production equipment trains for offshore on FPSO's were procured by Petrobras. Work on these orders lasted to 1998. The equipment consisted of separators, test separators, free water knock out drums and TEG Glycol Dehydration units. Compressor scrubbers and suction scrubbers were also supplied for three FPSO's. Petrobras was just the start of large projects during this period.

10 In 1997 to 2002 BS&B Process Systems designed and constructed the equipment for a turn key project for BANOCO in Bahrain. BS&B Process Systems had already supplied sixteen (16) of these units.
